Understanding the menopausal transition, and managing its clinical challenges

The onset of menopause is associated with a range of conditions, including reduced fertility, menstrual cycle irregularity, hot flashes, and osteoporosis. Fortunately, much is known and continues to be discovered about the process of reproductive aging, enabling physicians to make informed management recommendations.
